What to expect

1. Check-In & Digital Update

A young girl in a white coat with a dog, a man sitting on a chair holding the dog, in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital, with dog illustrations on the wall.

Upon arrival, our front desk team will confirm your contact info. We will be transitioning to electronic health records, but for the time being, we will still accept any paper or emailed copy of your pet's medical history.

2. Preliminary Exam

Veterinarian examining a calico cat on an examination table.

A Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Assistant will gather your pet's vitals (weight, temperature, heart rate) and discuss any concerns or refills you need.

3. Patient Visit

Veterinarian in blue scrubs with stethoscope examines a beagle dog.

Your veterinarian will perform a thorough physical exam, discuss findings with you, and create a personalized care plan to remediate any of those findings.

4. Diagnostics & Treatments

Veterinarians in blue gloves examining a long-haired tabby cat at a veterinary clinic.

If vaccines or bloodwork are needed, these are typically performed right then and there. You’ll receive updates when lab results become available.

5. Post-Visit Summary

A small white dog with a pink collar sitting on a sofa and looking at a veterinarian or doctor who is wearing blue scrubs and holding a tablet.

Before you leave, we’ll provide clear instructions for any medications or follow-up care. Your pet’s file is updated so we can track their progress accurately.

6. Follow-Up

For many visits, we will schedule the patient for a follow up between a few days and a few months out to ensure the treatment plan is proving successful.

“Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.”
